SOS to protect civilians and help the victims of the bombing of Al-Thawra hospital and fish port in Hodeidah province by the Saudi Aggression Alliance warplanes – today, August 2, 2018

Legal Center for Human Rights and Development appeals to humanitarian organizations, especially the International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, to speed up the rescue of victims and pull them out the rubbles resulted by the coalition aircrafts that targeted Al-Thawra Hospital and Fish Port, and still targeting paramedics. The ambulance crews have not recovered all casualties, medical workers, eyewitnesses and human rights activists confirm that dozens of bodies are still under the rubble due to the inability of paramedics to reach to them as a result of the continuous bombing by coalition warplanes for any ambulance trying to approach the site of the crime.  The Center also appeals to organizations to provide hospitals in Hodeidah with urgently needed medicines and supplies to treat the wounded and the victims of the bombing. Legal Center for Rights and Development has documented the coalition’s targeting for a number of paramedics and ambulances who have tried to rescue the victims.
